Huawei Networking Solutions

A complete stack: from CloudEngine switches to AirEngine Wi-Fi 7, from PoL/FTTO passive optical to adhesive FTTR fiber, all the way to PoF. Design, installation and monitoring are included in the 10punto10 service.

01

CloudEngine S-Series Switches

Managed Layer 2/3 switches designed for SMBs and enterprise campuses. The S5735 and S6730 series offer GbE and 10GbE ports with integrated PoE+ to power access points, IP phones and cameras without additional cabling.

  • PoE+ up to 30W per port
  • Virtual stacking (iStack)
  • Static and dynamic L3 routing
02

AirEngine Wi-Fi 7 & Zero-Roaming

Enterprise access points across Wi-Fi 6/6E/7. With Distributed APs (AirEngine 9700D-S) and the 6776-26HD, a single AP covers up to 8 rooms as one cell: sub-50ms handover, ideal for VoIP, video conferencing and streaming. Models with dual IoT slot for Zigbee / BLE / RFID.

  • AirEngine 6760-X1 / 6776-58TI / 9700D-S
  • Wi-Fi 7 (802.11be) beyond 18 Gbps
  • Zero-Roaming handover < 50 ms
  • Dual IoT slot for native smart-room
03

PoL / FTTO – OptiXstar

Passive Optical LAN: one OLT in the server room plus OptiXstar ONTs at the user endpoints replace the whole chain of floor switches. Guaranteed symmetric bandwidth, −80% cabling vs copper, −30% power consumption. Huawei is the global PoL market leader (IDC 2024).

  • OLT + OptiXstar ONT
  • 100% optical architecture
  • Future-proof: upgrade without re-cabling
04

FTTR – Fiber To The Room

The capillary evolution of FTTO, built for hotels, clinics and premium offices. Huawei FTTR uses thin optical cable with a transparent PVC jacket, adhesive, that sticks directly to the wall — no clips, no conduits. Zero masonry, zero visual impact.

  • Transparent adhesive optical cable
  • In-room Wi-Fi via dedicated ONT
  • Ideal for renovations and heritage buildings
05

PoF – Power over Fiber

A single hybrid cable carries optical signal and power to remote devices. The OptiXaccess S0316 ADU drives up to 16 PoF downstream ports: no local PSUs, no dedicated outlets, true plug-and-play. Part of the MiniFTTO solution.

  • OptiXaccess S0316 PoF ADU
  • Data + power on a single fiber
  • Plug-and-play for remote endpoints
06

iMaster NCE & CloudCampus

One platform for everything: switches, APs, OLTs, ONTs, FTTR. iMaster NCE automates provisioning, monitoring and AI-driven anomaly detection. CloudCampus brings the same experience to the public cloud — no on-site controllers, ideal for multi-site networks.

  • Zero-touch provisioning
  • AI analytics and anomaly detection
  • Cloud or on-prem, same UX

Why 10punto10 for Huawei networking

We do not just sell hardware. We design the network based on your actual requirements, install it and monitor it over time. Our approach always starts with a site survey to assess Wi-Fi coverage needs, network points, PoE and switching capacity.

After installation, the Huawei network is integrated into NEXUS and monitored by NOC10 24/7. If an access point goes offline or a switch shows anomalies, we intervene before your users even notice.

📡
Professional site survey Wi-Fi coverage analysis, floor plans, optimal AP placement
🔧
Installation and configuration Cabling, mounting, switch and AP configuration, VLANs, QoS, security
📊
NOC10 monitoring Device status, port utilization, connected clients, proactive alerts in NEXUS
🔄
Continuous evolution Firmware updates, Wi-Fi channel optimization, network expansion as your business grows
Integrated in NEXUS

Switches and access points
always under control

NEXUS shows the status of every Huawei device in real time: active switches, ports in use, connected access points, Wi-Fi clients per site. If an AP loses connectivity or a switch exceeds utilization thresholds, the NOC intervenes immediately.

Monthly reports with network statistics: bandwidth usage, connected clients, device uptime and recommendations to optimize coverage.

Frequently asked questions

Why choose Huawei over Cisco or Aruba for enterprise networking?
Huawei delivers enterprise-grade performance comparable to Cisco and Aruba at a significantly better price-to-performance ratio. CloudEngine switches and AirEngine access points use the same industry standards (802.11ax, 802.3bt PoE) and offer advanced features like virtual stacking, L3 routing and Wi-Fi 6E. For an SMB that needs reliable networking without the premium pricing of American brands, Huawei is the most rational choice.
Do Huawei access points support Wi-Fi 6?
Yes. The AirEngine range fully supports Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax), and the latest models also support Wi-Fi 6E with 6 GHz band. This means speeds up to 10.75 Gbps, reduced latency, greater capacity for simultaneous devices and improved power efficiency. Ideal for open-plan offices, meeting rooms with video conferencing and high-density device environments.
Do I need a hardware controller to manage Huawei access points?
Not necessarily. With CloudCampus you can manage all access points and switches from the cloud, without on-site hardware controllers. For larger installations or specific requirements, Huawei also offers hardware controllers (AC6508, AC6805) and the iMaster NCE platform for on-premise management. We choose the most suitable solution based on your needs.
How long does it take to deploy a complete Huawei network?
For an average office (50-100 users, 2-3 switches, 8-12 access points) deployment typically takes 5-10 business days: 1-2 days for the site survey, 2-3 for cabling and mounting, 2-3 for configuration and 1-2 for testing. For larger or multi-site deployments, we plan successive phases to avoid disrupting operations.
Does 10punto10 handle maintenance after installation?
Yes. After installation, the network is integrated into our NEXUS monitoring system and managed by NOC10. We handle firmware updates, Wi-Fi channel optimization, troubleshooting and network expansion when needed. Monthly reports with usage statistics and recommendations are included.
Which verticals do you cover with Huawei beyond office networking?
Beyond standard enterprise networking we have vertical solutions: hospitality (PoL, Zero-Roaming, FTTR, IoT smart-room), healthcare (Wi-Fi 7 Zero-Roaming for hospitals), industry and OT (industrial Wi-Fi and OT/IT segmentation). Huawei is also the global PoL market leader (IDC 2024) and already deployed in Italian 5-star hotels like Radisson Collection Santa Sofia in Milan.
What are PoL, FTTR and PoF, in short?
PoL (Passive Optical LAN) = 100% optical enterprise network based on PON: a single OLT replaces floor switches, −80% cabling. FTTR (Fiber To The Room) = transparent adhesive fiber delivering optical directly inside every room, no masonry. PoF (Power over Fiber) = one hybrid cable carrying both data and power to remote devices, no local PSUs.
