UPS and critical infrastructure
for your data center.

A 10-second blackout can corrupt a database, burn a RAID disk or halt production for hours. With Vertiv systems we protect your server room from power outages, voltage spikes and overheating.

Why protect
your power supply.

Servers don’t gracefully power down during a blackout: they crash. Corrupted file systems, lost transactions, degraded RAID arrays. For an SMB that depends on its IT systems, an unprotected power failure can mean hours of downtime and unrecoverable data.

But power isn’t the only risk. An air conditioner that fails overnight can push server room temperatures to 45°C within hours, triggering thermal forced stops on every server. Vertiv covers both fronts: electrical protection and environmental monitoring.

The Vertiv range

From power protection to environmental monitoring, from power distribution to remote management: Vertiv covers every aspect of your server room’s critical infrastructure.

01

Vertiv Liebert GXT5 UPS

An online double-conversion uninterruptible power supply designed for server rooms and rack cabinets. Protects against blackouts, micro-interruptions, surges and overvoltage. Delivers clean, stable power to servers, storage and network switches.

  • Online double-conversion (zero transfer time)
  • From 750 VA to 10 kVA, rack/tower format
  • Automatic bypass and hot-swap batteries
02

Vertiv Edge Infrastructure

Integrated solutions for edge computing and micro data centers. Pre-configured rack cabinets with built-in UPS, cooling and environmental monitoring. Ideal for remote offices, retail locations and distributed branches that need reliable local IT infrastructure.

  • All-in-one micro data center
  • Integrated cooling and UPS
  • Rapid deployment for remote sites
03

Vertiv Geist PDU & Monitoring

Intelligent rack PDUs (Power Distribution Units) and environmental sensors. They measure power consumption at each outlet, monitor temperature and humidity, and send alerts when parameters fall outside safe ranges. Your first line of defence against overheating.

  • Rack PDU with per-outlet monitoring
  • Temperature and humidity sensors
  • SNMP/email alerts on configurable thresholds
04

Vertiv Avocent KVM & Remote Management

Remote KVM (keyboard, video, mouse) access to servers without relying on the operating system. Enables our NOC to access BIOS, recovery consoles and hardware configurations remotely, even when the server is unresponsive over the network.

  • KVM-over-IP for hardware-level remote access
  • Multi-server management from a single console
  • Independent of server OS and network

Not just hardware:
managed protection.

Buying a UPS online and plugging it in isn’t enough. You need correct sizing based on actual load, alert configuration, battery monitoring and preventive replacement before they lose capacity. That’s what we do that an online retailer doesn’t.

As a Vertiv Gold Partner, 10punto10 manages the entire lifecycle of your critical infrastructure: from the initial site survey to scheduled maintenance, including installation, configuration and continuous monitoring.

Your server room
always under control

NEXUS shows you UPS, PDU and environmental sensor status in real time: electrical load, remaining battery autonomy, server room temperature and humidity. If a parameter leaves the safe range, the NOC receives the alert and intervenes before it becomes a problem.

Monthly reports with energy consumption, battery status, battery-switching events and preventive maintenance recommendations.

Frequently asked questions

What is an online double-conversion UPS?
An online double-conversion UPS (like the Vertiv Liebert GXT5) continuously converts power from AC to DC and back to AC. This means servers always receive clean, filtered power, and in the event of a blackout the switch to battery happens with zero transfer time — not even a microsecond of interruption. It is the recommended technology for servers, storage and critical network equipment.
How long does a UPS last during a blackout?
Autonomy depends on the model and connected load. A Liebert GXT5 3 kVA at 50% load provides approximately 15-20 minutes of runtime, enough for an orderly power-down of all servers or to ride through micro-interruptions. For longer runtime, external battery packs can be added. We size the UPS based on the autonomy time you actually need.
How often should UPS batteries be replaced?
Liebert UPS batteries have a typical lifespan of 3-5 years, depending on ambient temperature and discharge cycles. Our NOC monitoring tracks battery health and schedules replacement before critical capacity loss. GXT5 batteries are hot-swappable: they can be replaced without powering down connected servers.
Why is environmental monitoring important for a server room?
Servers generate heat. If air conditioning fails (at night, on weekends, during holidays), temperatures rise rapidly, causing thermal forced stops or permanent damage. Vertiv Geist sensors monitor temperature, humidity and water presence 24/7. If a parameter exceeds the threshold, the NOC receives the alert and can intervene before damage occurs.
How much does it cost to protect an SMB server room?
A Liebert GXT5 3 kVA UPS (sufficient for 2-3 servers and a switch) starts at approximately €1,500-2,500. A complete system with intelligent PDUs and environmental sensors ranges between €3,000 and €6,000. Consider that a single unprotected blackout can cost far more in lost data and downtime.
